Core Safety Our Construction Tech Safety Classes prepare students for the job site with essential skills and certifications. Training includes OSHA 10, construction math, blueprint reading, tool safety, and job-ready communication. Learn how to stay safe, use tools correctly, and build a strong foundation for a career in construction.
Foundational The Fundamentals section of our Construction Tech program gives students hands-on experience in the essential building blocks of residential and light commercial construction. From masonry and floor systems to wall, stair, and roof framing, students gain practical skills in each phase of the building process. Learn how to install ceiling joists, apply various roofing systems, and complete structures with professional exterior finishing techniques. Students also earn lift certifications, adding valuable credentials to their toolbox. This section builds a strong foundation—literally and professionally—for success in the trades.
Skilled Trades The Skilled Trades section prepares students for real-world work in key areas of construction. Learn the essentials of residential electrical systems, HVAC basics, and plumbing, including DWV systems, plastic and copper piping, and fittings. Students also gain hands-on experience in drywall and interior finishing, while earning valuable credentials like Lift Certification and First Aid/CPR/AED. Build specialized skills that help you stand out in the trades.

De-escalation in Practice (Olean) - 4215

De-Escalation in Practice: Using Assertive Language and Presence to Promote Calm In Emotionally Charged Situations. How we show up matters just as much as what we say. This interactive workshop focuses on the practical side of de-escalation by strengthening your emotional intelligence, refining your language choices, and using non-verbal presence to promote calm. Through discussion, structured practice, and guided reflection, you’ll gain tools to respond with clarity and confidence when tension runs high.
Macro Programming & In-Process Inspection-4260

Students will learn to use G&M Code to program basic machine movements, apply macro variables to construct programs, set up turning and machining centers, and practice in-process inspection techniques, including Haas machine probing cycles.
To be successful in this course, students must already be familiar with CNC machine tool operations and have at least an intermediate level knowledge of long-hand g-code programming.
Electrical Technician

An overview of electrical fundamentals, safety, tools, circuits, and maintenance, as well as hands-on experience in troubleshooting and automation. Participants will explore adanced concepts like relay logic, variable frequency drives, and practical calculations, culminating in a project that emphasizes real-world problem-solving in an industrial context.

Electrical Technician - Basic

The Basic Electrical module is designed for employees new to working with electrical concepts. Through a combination of lecture and hands-on applications students will study electrical fundamentals, electronic sensors, schematics, and electrical calculations.

Automated Machining - 4260

Students will design basic automation fixturing, learn the basics of robot automation programming, and write/construct programs. Further study includes HAAS machine probing cycles.
In order to be successful in this class, students must already be very familiar basic g-code programming and machine tool setup and operation.
OSHA 10-hour General Industry (Jamestown) - 4238
This 10-hour General Industry training is intended to provide instruction on a variety of general industry safety and health standards. This program is presented by an authorized General Industry Outreach Program Trainer and will provide you with the elements for developing a comprehensive safety and health program for your organization. OSHA established required course topics. These topics are designed to present detailed information on how the provisions of the OSHA Act must be implemented in the workplace. The program will help your company reduce costly accidents, and the risk of OSHA citations, fines and penalties. Course topics include: Overview of the OSHA General Duty Clause, Inspections, Citations and Subpart D: Walking and Working Surfaces; Subpart E & L: Means of Egress and Fire Protection; Subpart S: Electrical; Subpart H: Hazardous Materials; Subpart I: Personal Protective Equipment; Subpart O: Machine Guarding; Subpart J: Lockout Tagout; Subpart J: Permit Required Confined Space; and Subpart Q: Welding, Cutting, and Brazing. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive an official OSHA course completion card
