Topics covered in this course include operator qualifications and responsibilities, water quality control, coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, pH and alkalinity adjustment, iron and manganese removal, water softening and chlorination, bacteriological laboratory techniques, emergency planning, safety, hydraulics and pumps, process calculations and distribution system operation and maintenance. 60 contact hours; 6 CEUs

This five-day course is designed to meet the requirements of NYS Sanitary Code Part 5 relative to the training required to receive New York State Water Treatment Operator's certification. This training will coincide with the first half of the Grade IIA class. 30 contact hours; 3 CEUs

This course provides individuals with 35 contact hours of training required by the Project Management Institute (PMI)before taking the PMP exam.  The course is taught by a PMI authorized training provider and is conducted live through ZOOM.  Individuals will be provided with textbooks, study material, practice exam questions and more.

OSHA established required course topics. These topics are designed to present detailed information on how the provisions of the OSHA Act must be implemented in the workplace. The program will help your company reduce costly accidents, and the risk of OSHA citations, fines and penalties. Course topics include: Overview of the OSHA General Duty Clause, Inspections, Citations and Subpart D: Walking and Working Surfaces; Subpart E & L: Means of Egress and Fire Protection; Subpart S: Electrical; Subpart H: Hazardous Materials; Subpart I: Personal Protective Equipment; Subpart O: Machine Guarding; Subpart J: Lockout Tagout; Subpart J: Permit Required Confined Space; and Subpart Q: Welding, Cutting, and Brazing.
