Students will have the opportunity to learn the theory and hands-on skills to gain the foundational knowledge of Hydronic and Forced Air Heating systems. The successful completion of the 75-hour HVAC module I course will allow and prepare students to take the more advanced 75-hour HVAC module II course. Topics include the following: Safety, HVAC Tools, Mathematics for HVAC, Theory of Electricity - I, Blueprints and wiring diagrams, Soldering, Braizing and Welding, Piping Materials and Fittings, HVAC Career Opportunities, Introduction to HVAC Equipment - Boilers, Furnaces & AC, Fundamentals of HVAC Equipment- Boilers, Furnaces, Valves and Meters, Radiant Heat Systems, Troubleshooting HVAC Equipment, Customer Service, Soft Skills, Work Ethic. Textbook included.
CAD/CAM Programming (3679)

Model a component to drawing specifications using a variety of modeling tools in Fusion software. Students will also learn how to manipulate existing components to change dimensions.
Electrical Fundamentals (3693)

Learn the basic concepts of voltage, current, & resistance. Understand Ohm's Law and how to utilize it practically. Introduction to series, parallel, & combination circuits. Create a basic circuit.

Electrical Technician

An overview of electrical fundamentals, safety, tools, circuits, and maintenance, as well as hands-on experience in troubleshooting and automation. Participants will explore adanced concepts like relay logic, variable frequency drives, and practical calculations, culminating in a project that emphasizes real-world problem-solving in an industrial context.

Learn basic electrical symbols and terminology in both JIC and IEC standards. Expand on series, parallel, and combinatin circuits in industrial wiring. Intro to N.O. and N.C. components in a ladder diagram and low voltage distribution systems.

New Supervisor - Early Bird (Olean)

New Supervisor Training focuses on the skills needed by emerging, new, or recently appointed team leaders or first line supervisors. The program is ideal for employees who are new to planning, coordinating, and directing the work of others. This comprehensive 4-day program is a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, group exercises, and tools for future success. Participants will have a pre-class assignment before each session and will receive a one hour 1-on-1 coaching session with the instructor after completing the program. Class meets Thursdays, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27 and Wednesday 4/2. Early Bird Pricing ends February 20,2025.
