This three-day course is designed for systems with facilities for basic treatment and.or pressure zones, booster stations, storage tanks, fire protection, disinfection, nonresidential consumers, cross-connection potential, demand variations, and more

Basic Lab course covers a review of basic chemistry principles on pH, alkalinity, chlorine residuals, treatment and water quality regulations. Workshop covers water quality topics on disinfection and public notification. Water Treatment Operators Grade IA / IIA are required to complete a 0.5 CEU Basic Lab course every 3 years.

This course is designed for operators of distribution systems serving greater than 1,000 people. Topics include pressure zones, booster stations, storage tanks, fire protection and disinfection.

Students will program basic machine movements and create programs using common canned cycles using G&M Code programming. Students will also learn to write programs for the lathe that include macros, sub programs, live tooling cycles, and calls for automation

Use G&M Code to program CNC mill machine movements and create programs. Students will also learn to set up tooling and offsets using work probes and indicators

This session covers selecting coagulate chemicals, coagulant aids, turbidity and solids residuals.

This session will review treatment and distribution operations for flows, pressure, storage capacity, operations and maintaining drinking water quality.

This four-day course is designed to meet the requirements of NYS Sanitary Code Part 5 relative to the training required to receive New York State Water Treament Operator's certification.
