Basic Wastewater Operations - Olean (5299)

This 60 hour course will provide instruction for Basic Wastewater Operations to individuals seeking to become certifiied. The course follows the DEC curricula guide for watewater treatment plant operators. Textbooks are included.
Construction Technology- Foundational (5220)

The Fundamentals section of our Construction Tech program gives students hands-on experience in the essential building blocks of residential and light commercial construction. From masonry and floor systems to wall, stair, and roof framing, students gain practical skills in each phase of the building process. Learn how to install ceiling joists, apply various roofing systems, and complete structures with professional exterior finishing techniques. Students also earn lift certifications, adding valuable credentials to their toolbox. This section builds a strong foundation—literally and professionally—for success in the trades.

Grade IIA - Olean (5170)

Topics covered in this course include operator qualifications and responsibilities, water quality control, coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, pH and alkalinity adjustment, iron and manganese removal, water softening and chlorination, bacteriological laboratory techniques, emergency planning, safety, hydraulics and pumps, process calculations and distribution system operation and maintenance.
Grade IIB - Olean (5171)

This five-day course is designed to meet the requirements of NYS Sanitary Code Part 5 relative to the training required to receive New York State Water Treatment Operator's certification. This training will coincide with the first half of the Grade A class.
Construction Technology- Skilled Trades (5221)

The Skilled Trades section prepares students for real-world work in key areas of construction. Learn the essentials of residential electrical systems, HVAC basics, and plumbing, including DWV systems, plastic and copper piping, and fittings. Students also gain hands-on experience in drywall and interior finishing, while earning valuable credentials like Lift Certification and First Aid/CPR/AED.
